These are all 4-cutter tips creating the roundest hole which is important for Petzl Pulses or other wedge & sleeve bolts. This is not critical for glue in bolts.

These all work with SDS-Plus hammer drills.

A name brand bit may give you more holes before the size becomes too small compared to a less expensive generic bit. Per hole it will still cost more but if it doesn’t make sense to carry a bunch of extras, and you need the most reliable drill bit possible, this is when we recommend a name brand drill bit like these Bosch bits.

Remember a glue-in needs a hole 2mm bigger than the bolt. Example: A 10mm glue in needs a 12mm hole.
